The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI PO Notification 2025 on 24th June 2025 to recruit 541 Probationary Officers (POs). Interested candidates can apply online from 24th June to 14th July 2025 at SBI’s official website bank.sbi.

The SBI PO Notification 2025 PDF has been officially released on 24th June 2025. Through this notification, the State Bank of India has announced 541 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officer (PO). The notification contains all the important details like eligibility, age limit, selection process, exam dates, and how to apply.

Educational Qualification

Students from Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university as on or before 30th September 2025 are eligible to apply for the SBI PO.

Final year/semester students can also apply provisionally.

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2025)

Minimum: 21 years

Maximum: 30 years

Age Relaxation:

  • OBC (NCL) – 3 years
  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • PwBD – 10 to 15 years depending on category

SBI Probationary Officer Selection Process 2025

The SBI PO recruitment process is held in three phases:

  1. Preliminary Exam (100 Marks – Objective)
  2. Main Exam (250 Marks – Objective + Descriptive)
  3. Phase III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercise & Interview (50 Marks)

Final merit list will be prepared based on normalized marks from Main Exam and Interview.

SBI PO Salary 2025

The starting basic pay is ₹48,480/- (with 4 advance increments). Including allowances, the total CTC at Mumbai is approximately ₹20.43 lakhs per annum.
