The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Circle Based Officers (CBO) under Advertisement No. CRPD/CBO/2025-26/03. The SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 Notification has been issued on 9 May 2025, and the online application process is active from 9 May 2025 to 29 May 2025. But now the application deadline for the SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 has been extended from 29 May to 30 June 2025 specifically for candidates from Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.

The application deadline for the SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 has been extended from 29 May to 30 June 2025 specifically for candidates from Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. This extension is due to a corrigendum issued by the State Bank of India, allowing English to be considered as a valid local language for the North East Circle, provided candidates have studied and passed English as a subject in 10th or 12th standard from schools located in these two states.This change enables more eligible candidates to apply under the revised criteria.
SBI CBO 2025 Vacancy Details
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 2964 Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts across various circles in India. The selected candidates will be posted in the circle for which they apply and will not be eligible for inter-circle transfers until 12 years or promotion to SMGS-IV grade.

SBI CBO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as on 30 April 2025:
Educational Qualification & Experience
Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.

SBI CBO 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2025 includes:
Online Test:
- Objective Test: 120 marks
- Descriptive Test: 50 marks
Screening of Documents
Interview (50 marks)
Local Language Proficiency Test
Final selection will be based on the combined marks of the Online Test and Interview with a 75:25 weightage ratio.
