SAMEER Kolkata Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit as per notification PDF have been discussed below.
Education Qualification
- Research Scientist: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or M.Sc. (Electronics) with minimum 55% marks
- Project Assistant – A (Electronics): Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with minimum 55% marks
- Project Assistant – A (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 55% marks
- Project Technician – A: ITI in relevant trade with NCVT with minimum 55%
Age Limit
To apply for project staff posts, the candidates must not exceed the age limit of 25-30 years. The age limit for each post is as follows-
- Research Scientist: 30 years
- Project Assistant & Technician: 25 years
SAMEER Kolkata Recruitment Selection Process 2025
The SAMEER Kolkata selection process comprises two stages:
Written Test (Objective Test):
This written examination uses Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). It covers topics related to technical subject knowledge. The exam will have negative marking for incorrect answers.SAMEER Kolkata Jobs 2025
Interview:
Candidates who pass Written Test move to this stage. This stage assesses the candidate’s technical knowledge and suitability for the role. Final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
SAMEER Kolkata Salary Structure
The appointed candidates for the posts will be paid a consolidated monthly salary as mentioned below:
- Research Scientist: Rs. 32,000 per month
- Project Assistant: Rs. 19,000 per month
- Project Technician: Rs. 17,100 per month
