RRC NR Recruitment 2025 Details
The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, has released Employment Notice No. RRC/NR 02/2025/S&G for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota in Level 1 and Level 2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. A total of 23 vacancies have been announced.

RRC NR Scouts & Guides Quota Eligibility Criteria
Level 2 (Group ‘C’):-
Educational Qualification:
- 12th Pass with 50% marks (not required for SC/ST/Ex-SM or higher qualification holders)
OR
Matric + ITI/Act Apprenticeship for technical posts
Scouting Qualification:
- President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or HWB holder
- Active member of a Scouts organization for at least 5 years
- Attended 2 National/All Indian Railway & 2 State-level events
Level 1 (Group ‘D’):-
Educational Qualification:
- 10th Pass OR ITI OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)
Scouting Qualification:
- President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or HWB holder
- Active member of a Scouts organization for at least 5 years
- Attended 2 National/All Indian Railway & 2 State-level events

Selection Process for Northern Railway Scouts & Guides Quota 2025
1. Written Test:-
- Duration: 60 minutes
- 40 objective questions (40 marks)
- 1 descriptive (essay) question (20 marks)
- Topics: General Knowledge, Scouts & Guides
2. Certificate Verification (40 marks):-
- Participation in national/state-level S&G events
- Specialized training courses
- Rallies and camps at district level
