RITES Limited has published a new notification inviting applications for the role of Site Assessor. This opportunity is specifically designed for ITI-certified professionals who are seeking technical roles in public sector projects across the Southern Region of the country.
RITES Limited is offering this position on a contract basis for its ongoing and upcoming assignments in states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Puducherry, and the Lakshadweep islands.

RITES Limited Site Assessor Vacancies and Job Profile
RITES Limited has opened six positions for the role of Site Assessor. The distribution of these positions includes five unreserved posts and one for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer). The job involves field-level work related to solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including installation, commissioning, testing, and quality checks.
Selected individuals will be engaged in technical assessments and inspections at various project sites, primarily focusing on electrical systems and solar power components.
Who Can Apply for RITES Site Assessors Post?
To be eligible for the Site Assessor position at RITES Limited, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th Class) along with an ITI certificate in one of the following disciplines:
- Electrician
- Electrician (Power Distribution)
- Electrician Mechanics
- Instrument Mechanics
- Technician (Power Electronics Systems)
Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of post-qualification experience in handling Solar PV systems. This includes tasks such as material testing, system installation, commissioning, quality assurance, and field inspections.
Certification: The ITI qualification must be recognized by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training).
Age and Category Relaxation RITES Limited Site Assessor Recruitment
The upper age limit is 40 years as on July 27, 2025, which is also the last date for submitting online applications. Age relaxations are available as per government guidelines for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwBD categories.
Persons with Disabilities (PWD) with appropriate functional abilities, such as locomotor or hearing impairment, are also encouraged to apply, provided they meet the physical and medical standards required for the job.
RITES Site Assessor Selection Method
The selection will be conducted in the form of a written examination consisting of 125 objective-type questions to be answered in 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking in the test.
To qualify, candidates must score at least:
- 50% for General and EWS applicants
- 45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD (against reserved posts)
Those who meet the qualifying marks will be invited for document verification, where all original certificates and supporting documents must be presented. Only candidates who clear this verification will be considered for final appointment.
Duration and Pay RITES Limited Site Assessor Recruitment
The appointment will be on a contract basis for one year, which may be extended based on project requirements and performance.
The financial details for the post are:
- Basic Pay: ₹13,802 per month
- Gross Monthly Salary: ₹25,120
- Annual Cost to Company (CTC): Approx. ₹3,01,436
Actual pay may vary slightly depending on the place of posting and specific terms of engagement.

- Hyderabad
