PSSSB Recruitment 2025
Punjab Government, the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for 151 vacancies under various cadres. The board is looking for bright and qualified individuals with a solid academic record, knowledge of the Punjabi language, and the necessary eligibility as prescribed in the official notification.
The online application process will start from 01 July 2025 at sssb.punjab.gov.in and will continue till 21 July 2025. Candidates must ensure they meet the prescribed qualifications and age criteria before applying.

PSSSB Recruitment 2025 Post Details
Naib Tehsildar (13 Positions)
- Essential qualifications: Graduate from a recognized university. Must pass departmental exam & training as per Punjab Civil Services rules.
- Pay Scale: ₹35,400 (Pay Level-6)
- Upper Age Limit: 37 years for General. Relaxations – SC/BC (42 yrs), Govt Employees (45 yrs), PwD (47 yrs), Widows/Divorcees (40 yrs)
- Application Fee: General – ₹1000, SC/ST/BC/EWS – ₹250, PwD – ₹500, Ex-Servicemen – ₹200
- Selection Process: Written Exam + Document Verification + Medical
Audit Officer (03 Positions)
- Essential qualifications: CA or M.Com with at least 3 years experience in auditing commercial accounts.
- Pay Scale: ₹35,400 (Pay Level-6)
- Upper Age Limit: 37 years
- Application Fee: ₹1000 (General), relaxations applicable as above
- Selection Process: Written Test (Objective), Document Check & Medical
Inspector Audit (135 Positions)
- Essential qualifications: B.Com (2nd Division) + 120 Hours Computer Course OR studied computer in degree + Punjabi in Matriculation
- Pay Scale: ₹35,400 (Pay Level-6)
- Upper Age Limit: 37 years
- Exam Scheme: Part A (General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Punjabi, ICT) – 40 marks
Part B (Subject-related Audit/Accounts) – 80 marks - Negative Marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer
- Application Fee: ₹1000 for General, ₹250 for SC/ST/BC/EWS, ₹200 for Ex-Servicemen, ₹500 for PwD
Application Process for PSSSB Vacancies
- The application process is completely online. Candidates need to visit the official website of PSSSB at sssb.punjab.gov.in to fill out the application form. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee while submitting the form.
- The application fee for General category candidates is expected to be ₹1000. For SC, ST, BC, and EWS categories, the fee is ₹250. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are required to pay ₹500, while the fee for Ex-Servicemen is ₹200.

General Conditions
- Admit cards, answer keys, results, and other updates will be made available only at sssb.punjab.gov.in.
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per Punjab Govt norms.
- Candidates must possess Punjabi language proficiency at Matric level.
- Selection will be based on a written exam (MCQs with negative marking), followed by document verification and medical examination.
- Candidates must ensure eligibility before applying as no corrections will be allowed after submission.
- Final merit will be based solely on the marks in the written exam.
