NMDC Trainee Recruitment 2025 Details
The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has officially released the Employment Notification No. 03/2025 dated May 22, 2025, announcing 995 trainee vacancies across various technical and support positions. These openings are spread across its Bailadila Iron Ore Mine (Kirandul and Bacheli Complexes) in Chhattisgarh and Donimalai Complex in Karnataka.

- These vacancies are distributed among the Kirandul, Bacheli, and Donimalai complexes, with reservation provisions for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, and PwBD candidates.

NMDC trainee eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification:-
- Field Attendant: Middle Pass or ITI.
- Maintenance Assistant (Elect.): ITI in Electrical Trade.
- Maintenance Assistant (Mech.): ITI in Fitter/Welder/Machinist/Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Auto Electrician.
- Blaster Grade-II: Matric/ITI with Blaster or Mining Mate Certificate and 3 years of experience in blasting operations.
- Electrician Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering and relevant certifications.
- Electronics Technician Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
- HEM Mechanic Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and valid HMV license.
- HEM Operator Gr.-III: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering and valid HMV license.
- MCO Gr.-III: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with HMV license.
- QCA Gr.-III: B.Sc. in Chemistry/Geology with 1-year sampling experience.
Candidates holding qualifications higher than those prescribed are ineligible.
Age Limit:-
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years as on June 14, 2025
Age relaxation :-
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: as per GoI guidelines
- Departmental candidates: as per NMDC rules
NMDC application form 2025
- Visit the NMDC website and go to “Careers.”
- Click on the recruitment link for Notification No. 03/2025.
- Register and fill in the application form.
- Upload documents: educational certificates, photo, signature, caste/PwBD certificates, etc.
- Pay the application fee: ₹150 (Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/Departmental)
- Submit the form and download a printout for reference.
NMDC trainee selection process
The selection process comprises two stages:-
OMR/Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- For Field Attendant: 70 marks (GK) + 30 marks (Reasoning/Numerical)
- For others: 30 marks (Subject), 50 marks (GK), 20 marks (Reasoning/Numerical)
2nd Level Test (Qualifying Only):
- Physical Ability Test for Field Attendant
- Trade Test for other posts
Minimum qualifying marks in CBT:
- UR/EWS: 50
- OBC (NCL): 45
- SC/ST/PwBD: 40
