IOCL Engineer Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech/Equivalent degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 65% marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL and 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Degree must be recognized by AICTE/UGC.
Age Limit
- General/EWS: Maximum 26 years
- OBC (NCL): 29 years
- SC/ST: 31 years
- PwBD: Relaxation up to 10 years
- Additional relaxation as per Govt. of India norms.
IOCL Engineer Salary Structure 2025
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000/- (Grade A) with an initial basic pay of ₹50,000 per month.

IOCL Engineer Selection Process 2025
The selection process will include:
Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100 MCQs (150 minutes)
- Domain Knowledge: 50 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude: 20 questions
- Logical Reasoning: 15 questions
- Verbal Ability (English): 15 questions
- Marking Scheme: +1 mark for correct answer, -0.25 for wrong answer
Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT) – 5% weightage
Personal Interview (PI) – 10% weightage
Final Merit – Based on composite score (CBT 85% + GD/GT 5% + PI 10%)
