Army Sports Quota Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:-
- Minimum: 10th pass a recognized board
Sports Achievements:-
For Havildar:
- Medalist in National Championships or
- Represented India/State in National or International Competitions
- Medalist in Khelo India Games
For Naib Subedar:
- Medalist Asian Games, CWG, World Championships, Olympics
- Represented India twice in major international tournaments
Sports Eligible for Indian Army Sports:-
- Athletics, Archery, Basketball, Boxing, Diving, Football, Fencing, Gymnastics, Hockey, Handball, Judo, Kabaddi, Kayaking & Canoeing, Sailing, Swimming, Shooting, Triathlon, Volleyball, Wushu, Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Winter Games.
Army Sports Quota physical standards 2025:-
For Male Candidates:

Weight: Proportional to height & age
Chest Expansion: 5 cm minimum
Running: 1.6 km in 05 mins 45 secs
Other Tests: 9 ft ditch, zig-zag balance
For Female Candidates
- Height: 162 cm
- Running Test: 1.6 km in 08 mins
- Other: 10 ft long jump, 03 ft high jump
Age Limit:-
- Minimum Age: 17½ years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Range: 30.09.2000 to 01.10.2007 (both inclusive)

- Physical Tests, Medical Tests, Skill Tests
- Final merit-based selection list
Pay, Benefits, and Service Terms
- Promotion up to Subedar Major
- Opportunity to become a Commissioned Officer
- Initial training followed by trade-specific training
- Probation: 3 years
