This recruitment is open to unmarried male Indian and Gorkha (Nepalese subject) candidates. Airmen (Medical Assistant) Vacancy 2025
The number of vacancies for the post of Medical Assistant under Group Y Trade has not been disclosed in the notification. Candidates will be selected based on merit and availability of posts in different Air Force units across India.
Indian Air Force Airmen Eligibility 2025
Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 Candidates: Must have passed Intermediate/10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
- Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy: Must have passed 10+2 with PCB and English (50% marks aggregate & in English) + Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks and valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or PCI.
Physical & Medical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 152 cm
- Chest: 77 cm (expansion minimum 5 cm)
- Vision: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/6, no LASIK/PRK history

IAF Airmen Medical Assistant Application Form 2025
The application form will be available from 11th July 2025. Candidates can register and fill the form online at www.airmenselection.cdac.in. Uploading necessary documents such as photo, educational certificates, and thumb impression is mandatory.

Indian Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection for Medical Assistant Trade involves three phases:
Phase I – Online Test
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Subjects: English (as per 10+2 CBSE), Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA)
- Marking Scheme: +1 for correct, -0.25 for wrong, 0 for unattempted
Phase II – Physical & Adaptability Tests
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- 1.6 km run: within 7 minutes (under 21 yrs), 7.5 minutes (above 21)
- 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats
- Adaptability Test I & II
Phase III – Medical Examination
- Conducted by Air Force Medical Authorities
- Includes physical, dental, vision, hearing, and lab investigations
IAF Airmen Medical Assistant Salary 2025
- Stipend During Training: ₹14,600/month
- Pay After Training: ₹26,900/month (basic) + DA + other allowances
