Candidates must meet both the educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Agniveervayu selection process.

A candidate must be:
- A citizen of India
Age Limit (as on date of enrolment)
- Minimum Age: 17.5 years
- Maximum Age: 21 years
- Born Between: 02 July 2005 to 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive)

IAF Agniveervayu Salary Structure
Selected Agniveers will receive a monthly salary and a Seva Nidhi package at the end of the 4-year tenure.
