ICAR-CIWA Jobs 2025
The ICAR – Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (CIWA), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has released a notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of 52 contractual positions under the All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Women in Agriculture.
These positions include 26 posts of Young Professional-I and 26 posts of Field Assistant, available across 13 research centres in various states. The last date to submit the online application form is 4th July 2025, and the entire recruitment process will be conducted through an online application and interview-based system.

Project and Role Details
The positions are being offered under two major sub-projects of AICRP on Women in Agriculture:
- Information System for Participation of Women in Agriculture in Different Agro-Ecological Regions
- Quantifying Women’s Contribution in Agriculture and Allied Sectors Using Time Motion Study

ICAR-CIWA Notification 2025 Vacancy
Young Professional-I
- Number of Posts: 26
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹30,000 (Fixed, no HRA)
- Qualification: B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fishery, or Home Science/Community Science
- Desirable: Two years’ experience in survey work, data entry, and report preparation using MS Office
Field Assistant
- Number of Posts: 26
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹16,500 (Fixed)
- Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in any discipline or +2 vocational course in agricultural subjects
- Desirable: One year experience in data collection, surveys, video documentation; knowledge of regional language preferred
Both positions require candidates to undertake field surveys, collect and enter data, document findings, and prepare reports. The engagement will be purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, which runs until 31st March 2026.
Age Limit for ICAR-CIWA Recruitment 2025
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as of the date of application deadline.
- Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PwD candidates as per Government of India norms.
ICAR-CIWA Jobs 2025 Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on a scorecard system evaluating their academic qualifications and work experience. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online or offline personal interview, which carries 50 marks.
The final selection will be made on the basis of performance in both document verification and interview, following tie-breaker rules where necessary.

The application form should be filled carefully with accurate details and all supporting documents must be uploaded in PDF format.
Documents to be uploaded include:
- 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets
- PG certificate (if any)
- Caste or category certificate (if applicable)
- Valid ID proof (preferably Aadhaar)
- Proof of work experience (if applicable)
The naming convention for uploaded files should follow the format: FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME_YP.pdf or FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME_FA.pdf, depending on the position applied for.
Posting Locations
Selected candidates may be posted at any of the 13 AICRP-WIA centres, including locations in Hisar, Jorhat, Dharwad, Hyderabad, Tura, Pantnagar, Udaipur, Palampur, Ludhiana, Parbhani, Madurai, Bengaluru, and Pusa (Bihar).
