Hooghly CSL Hiring 2025
Hooghly CSL is recruiting eligible candidates for multiple executive positions across its Howrah-based shipyard and other project sites. The posts include Executive Trainee (Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architecture), Assistant Engineer (IT), Assistant Manager (Design), Deputy Manager (Various Technical Roles), and Senior Manager/AGM (Technical).

Hooghly CSL Hiring 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 24th July 2025)
- Executive Trainee: Max 27 years
- Assistant Engineer: Max 45 years
- Assistant Manager: Max 30 years
- Deputy Manager: Max 35 years
- Manager: Max 40 years
- AGM: Max 50 years
Age relaxations apply as per government norms.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Executive Trainee: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical/Naval Architecture with 65% marks.
- Assistant Engineer (IT): Diploma or Degree in IT/Computer Science with 60% marks + 7 years’ experience.
- Assistant Manager: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 60% marks + 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Deputy Manager: Degree in relevant field with 60% marks + 7 years’ experience.
- Manager: Engineering degree with 9 years’ experience.
- AGM: Degree in Mechanical/Naval Architecture + 15 years’ experience.

Executive Trainee
- Phase I: Objective Test (60 Marks)
- Phase II: Group Discussion, Writing Skills, Interview (40 Marks)
Assistant Engineer
- Written Test (Objective + Descriptive) – 80 Marks
- PowerPoint Presentation – 20 Marks
Assistant Manager
- Objective Test – 40 Marks
- Descriptive Test – 30 Marks
- GD & Interview – 30 Marks
