Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has officially announced the recruitment of 209 Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. This opportunity is open for eligible candidates seeking skilled trade training at the Khetri Copper Complex, located in Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan.

HCL Apprentice eligibility criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:-
Trades 4–15:
- Passed ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
Trades 1–3 (Mate, Blaster, FOA):
- Passed 10th (Matric) under 10+2 system.
Age Limit:-
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 01.05.2025)
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
How to apply for HCL Apprentice 2025?
Candidates must follow two mandatory steps-
Step 1: Apprenticeship Portal Registration
- Visit www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- Register as a Trade Apprentice and note down the generated registration number.
Step 2: Online Application at HCL Website
- Visit www.hindustancopper.com
- Go to Careers > Engagement of Trade Apprentices 2025
- Fill in details including Apprenticeship registration number, upload required documents and submit.

- Stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Act norms.
- Selection is subject to medical fitness as per HCL’s standards.
HCL Apprentice selection process 2025
The selection of candidates will be done purely on merit basis.
ITI trades:-
- 30% weightage to ITI marks
- 70% weightage to 10th marks
Non-ITI trades (Mate, Blaster, FOA):-
- 100% weightage to 10th marks
Bonus Marks:-
- 10 additional marks to dependents of HCL/KCC employees
Tie-Breaker:-
- In case of tie, older candidates will be given preference.
