BDL Selection Process 2025
The selection will be based on:
Written Test (CBoT)
- 100 Questions – Subject-specific
- 20 Questions – General Aptitude
- Duration: 2 hours
- Qualifying Marks: 50% (UR), 40% (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD where applicable)
Interview
- Weightage: Written Test – 85%, Interview – 15%
- Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in 1:7 to 1:10 ratio

Educational Qualification
Post-wise qualifications are:
- Trainee Engineer: B.E./B.Tech in relevant branch (Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, CS)
- Trainee Officer (Finance): CA/CMA/MBA (Finance)/PGDM
- Trainee Officer (HR): MBA/PG in HRM, IR, Social Work
- Trainee Officer (BD): MBA in Marketing/Sales
- Diploma Assistant: 3-year Diploma in relevant field or B.Sc/BCA for CS
- Trainee Assistant: Graduation in relevant stream + Computer Course
Minimum marks: 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD where applicable)
