Eligibility Criteria for APSC Junior Economist Vacancy Recruitment
1. Citizenship & Domicile
- Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam. A valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate is required as proof.
2. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Postgraduate degree in Economics or Statistics from a recognized university.
3. Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field (Economics/Statistics) in any government or reputed private organization.
4. Age Limit
- As of January 1, 2025, candidates must be between 21 and 38 years.
Age relaxations are available for:
- SC/ST: Up to 43 years
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 41 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years (additional relaxation based on category)
- PwBD: 10 years (subject to benchmark disability certificate)
