APPSC JE Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet certain criteria for education, age, and nationality. A minimum three-year Diploma or Bachelor’s/B.Tech degree in relevant subjects is required. Those appearing in final year exams can apply but must submit proof of qualification during interview.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s/B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, IT, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Agricultural Engineering from recognized Institutes/Universities.
Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 10th October 2025. Relaxation for reserved categories will be as per government norms.
APPSC JE Salary Structure 2025
Junior Engineers are appointed in Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400/-), Group B, Non-Gazetted posts. Additional allowances and benefits are provided as per government norms.
APPSC JE Application Form 2025
The application form can be filled online at appsc.gov.in from 18th September 2025. Candidates must first register for One Time Registration (OTR), unless already registered. The last date to submit applications is 10th October 2025. Applicants can select department preferences while applying, which cannot be changed later.

The selection shall comprise two stages: a written examination (Objective type) and viva-voce (interview). There is negative marking of 1/6 for every wrong answer. Merit will be prepared based on marks in written test and interview.

The written exam will be conducted for 400 marks with 100 questions and 2 hours duration. Candidates must score at least 33% in aggregate to qualify for viva-voce, with minimum marks in each paper. PwBD candidates have relaxed qualifying criteria.
