North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) has released a notification for walk-in interviews for temporary project-based positions including Research Scientist (RS), Research Associate-I (RA-I), and Junior Research Fellow (JRF). ISRO NESAC Recruitment Vacancy Details 2025
The vacancies are as follows:
- Research Scientist (RS): 6 Posts
- Research Associate-I (RA-I): 1 Post
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 5 Posts

Eligibility Criteria for NESAC Recruitment 2025
Candidates must meet specific educational and experience criteria as per the post. Here is an overview of the general requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Research Scientist (RS): First Class M.E./M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech in relevant disciplines with minimum 60% (PG) and 65% (UG) or equivalent CGPA.
- Research Associate-I (RA-I): Ph.D. or M.Tech with 3 years of research experience and at least 1 SCI journal publication in relevant atmospheric science disciplines.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): First Class M.Sc./M.Tech/B.Tech in prescribed subjects with NET/GATE or equivalent qualification.

How to Apply for NESAC Walk-in Recruitment 2025
Candidates do not need to apply online. However, they must follow these steps:
- Download the Biodata Format:
Visit nesac.gov.in/category/career/ to download the prescribed Biodata format. Fill it neatly and take a printout. - Prepare Required Documents:
Carry original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification at the time of interview. - Attend Walk-in Interview:
Report at 08:30 AM at NESAC, Umiam on the interview date with complete Biodata and documents. No handwritten Biodata will be accepted. - NOC (if applicable):
Candidates working under Government/PSUs/autonomous bodies must produce a valid “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview.
