The Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies (DIBT), Mysore, under DRDO, has officially released the Apprenticeship Notification 2025 through Advertisement No. DIBT/HRD/APPR-01/2025-26 dated 15th July 2025. A total of 20 vacancies are available for Diploma (Technician) and ITI Trade Apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Steps to Apply for DRDO DIBT Apprentice Recruitment 2025
- Register on the respective apprenticeship portal (NATS for Diploma, NAPS for ITI).
- Fill the application form provided in the notification.
- Attach self-attested documents listed below.
- Send the hardcopy by speed post to the given address.

- 10th & 12th Marksheet and Certificates
- ITI/Diploma Marksheet & Provisional Certificate
- Aadhaar Card or other Govt. ID
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)

- Police Verification Certificate
- Medical Fitness Certificate (Govt. Hospital only)
- NATS/NAPS Registration Certificate

DRDO DIBT Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
Age Limit (as on 31st July 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (passed in 2023/2024/2025)
- ITI Apprentice: ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT (passed in 2023/2024/2025)

Stipend for DIBT Apprentices

DRDO DIBT Selection Process 2025
- Shortlisting will be based on academic merit.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- No written test or interview.
