TN TRB Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
Post Graduate Assistant (Academic Subjects & Languages)
- Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.)
Computer Instructor Grade I
- Same as PG Assistant criteria above
Physical Director Grade I
- B.P.Ed. with at least 50% or equivalent
- M.P.Ed. of at least 2 years duration
For Special Schools (Differently Abled)
- Post Graduate with 50% marks
- B.Ed. (Special Education) for Visually or Hearing Impaired

TN TRB Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process involves three stages:
Tamil Language Eligibility Test
- 30 Questions | 50 Marks | 30 Minutes
- Minimum 40% required to qualify
Main Written Examination (OMR-Based)
- Duration: 3 Hours
- 150 Questions | 150 Marks
- Includes Subject Knowledge, Educational Methodology, General Knowledge
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- Others: 50%, SC: 45%, ST: 40%
