Prasar Bharati has issued a notification inviting applications for the contractual engagement of 25 Marketing Executives across its Sales Divisions, Doordarshan Kendras (DD), CBS, and Akashvani stations.

The notification was released on 30th June 2025, and the last date to apply online is within 15 days from the date of publication in the local newspaper.

  • Post Name: Marketing Executive
  • Number of Vacancies: 25
  • Location of Posting: Multiple cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Imphal, Shillong, Kohima, Port Blair, and others
  • Duration: Initially 2 years (extendable)
  • Remuneration:
    • ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month for Metro cities
    • ₹35,000 to ₹42,000 per month for other cities
    • Final salary will be negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and suitability

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Essential Qualification: MBA / MBA (Marketing) or Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from a recognised university or management institute.
  • Essential Experience: Minimum 1 year of direct sales experience. Candidates with prior experience in direct selling for media organisations will be given preference.
  • Age Limit: Below 35 years as of the date of the notification (30th June 2025).

Job Responsibilities Prasar Bharati Jobs 2025

Selected candidates will be responsible for managing and increasing direct sales revenue for Doordarshan (DD) and Akashvani in their respective geographic locations. Responsibilities include:

  • Generating new business through market visits, client meetings, and networking
  • Creating presentations, proposals, and other sales materials
  • Participating in sales events, exhibitions, and industry conferences
  • Meeting revenue targets and managing client relationships
  • Collaborating with internal departments like programming, marketing, and finance
  • Managing MIS, sales reporting, and payment collections

Candidates must possess strong communication skills, fluency in English, and knowledge of local languages. Excellent presentation skills, the ability to work independently and in teams, and professional behaviour in high-level meetings are highly desired.
