Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Posts
As per UGC Regulations 2018, the minimum eligibility is:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
- NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by UGC/CSIR is mandatory.
- Candidates with Ph.D. degrees from top 500 global universities (QS/THE/ARWU) are exempted from NET.
Additional eligibility, reservations, and relaxations are applicable as per UGC and Government of India norms.
Zakir Husain Delhi College Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:
Presentation Assessment: Candidates will be assessed on writing, communication, subject knowledge, and presentation skills.
Interview: A duly constituted Selection Committee will evaluate candidates based on academic record, research, domain knowledge, and teaching aptitude.
Shortlisting will be based on the UGC-specified academic score out of 100.
