JIPMER Senior Resident Recruitment
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, invites online applications for the post of Senior Resident (Regular basis) in 25 departments. Educational Qualification
- A Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the respective discipline from a recognized university/institute.
- For Dentistry, MDS in the respective discipline.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 45 years
- Age relaxation: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – additional 10 years

JIPMER Senior Resident Recruitment Selection Process
The selection for Senior Residents will be conducted through two stages:
Written Test (85% weightage)
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Pattern: 40 MCQs relevant to the applied discipline
Interview (15% weightage)
- Conducted only for shortlisted candidates based on written exam
JIPMER Senior Resident Salary 2025
Selected candidates will be paid a salary of ₹67,700 per month in Level 11 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix along with NPA (if applicable). In addition, admissible allowances will be provided as per institute norms.
