BTSC Nurse Vacancy 2025 Eligibiliy Criteria
- Passed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
- Candidates from outside Bihar must get eligibility from INC, New Delhi.
- B.Sc. Nursing graduates are also eligible.
- Must be registered with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council, Patna.
Age Limit-
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age:
- UR (Male): 37 years
- UR (Female), BC, EBC: 40 years
- SC/ST (Male/Female): 42 years
- PwD: Extra 10 years relaxation
- Contractual Nurses: Age relaxation equal to their service years

- Fill in your details carefully and upload the required documents
- Pay the application fee online

BTSC Bihar Staff Nurse Notification Selection Process
- Written Exam:- (Computer-Based Test – CBT) – 75 Marks
- 100 Objective questions (MCQ)
- 2 hours duration
- Syllabus based on GNM level
- Negative marking: 0.25 mark deducted per wrong answer
- Work Experience :– 25 Marks
- 5 marks per year (up to max 25 marks)
- Valid only for contractual nurses working in Bihar govt./non-private hospitals
- Final Merit:- Written Exam Marks + Experience Marks (Total 100 Marks)
Minimum qualifying marks:
UR – 40%, BC – 36.5%, VBC – 34%, SC/ST/Women/PwD – 32%
