How to Apply For TNPSC Group 4 Vacancy 2025
Following these steps-
- One-Time Registration (OTR): Register on the TNPSC portal with personal details, educational qualifications, and a photograph. OTR is valid for 5 years.
- Online Application: Log in using OTR credentials, select the desired posts, and fill out the application form.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of SSLC/HSC/Degree mark sheets, community certificates, and other required documents as per Annexure II and V.
- Fee Payment: Pay the applicable fees online via debit/credit card, net banking, or other available modes.
- Application Correction: Use the correction window (29 May 2025 to 31 May 2025) to edit details if needed.
- Submit and Save: Verify all details, submit the application, and download the confirmation for future reference.

Selection Process For Tamil Nadu Group 4 Posts
Written Examination:- A single-stage objective-type written exam of 300 marks, consisting of three parts:
- Part A: Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test (100 questions, 150 marks, SSLC Standard).
- Part B: General Studies (75 questions, 75 marks, SSLC Standard).
- Part C: Aptitude and Mental Ability (25 questions, 25 marks, SSLC Standard).
- Duration: 3 hours. Minimum qualifying marks: 90 for reserved categories, 120 for others.
Onscreen Certificate Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on written exam marks undergo onscreen verification of uploaded certificates in a 1:3/1:2 ratio (general/reserved categories).
Physical Standards Test and Endurance Test :- (for Forest Guard, Forest Guard with Driving Licence, Forest Watcher, and Forest Watcher (Tribal Youth):
- Physical Standards Test: Verification of height and chest measurements.
- Endurance Test: 25 km walk for males and 16 km for females/third gender, to be completed in 4 hours.
- Conducted only in Chennai.
Physical Certificate Verification and Counselling: Eligible candidates are called for physical verification of original certificates and counselling to choose posts based on rank and reservation rules.
