Bihar State Health Society (BSHS) has released Advertisement No. 02/2025, inviting applications for 4500 Community Health Officer (CHO) posts. These posts are purely contractual under the National Health Mission (NHM) and aim to boost healthcare delivery at Health & Wellness Centres across Bihar.

BSHS CHO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:-
- B.Sc. Nursing with a 6-month integrated Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from a recognized institute/university (from 2020 onward)
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with the same CCH course
- B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing/GNM candidates who have completed CCH through IGNOU or other State Public Health/Medical Universities, following the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare curriculum.
Age Limit:-
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age Limits:
- General/EWS (Male)- 42 years
- General/EWS (Female), BC/MBC- 45 years
- SC/ST Candidates- 47 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per the Bihar Government rules.
